Hi! I’m Chris Bebout and I started working at The Swim Center in 2010. I love the water and have been swimming for as long as I can remember!  I think I was swimming before I started walking! I’m pretty good at all the strokes, but I enjoy freestyle the most. My sister and I both grew up taking swim lessons at The Swim Center. I think it’s important that everyone gets a chance to take swim lessons.  Water can be so much fun—from doing cannonballs off the diving board to playing “Marco Polo” with friends. Learning the basic skills will give you the confidence to swim in all types of water—oceans, lakes, and pools.

When I’m not in the pool, I enjoy playing sports, working out, traveling and flying. I graduated from Eagles Landing Christian Academy in 2009. I am currently working toward a Bachelor of Aviation Management and Operations at Jacksonville University in Florida. I plan on minoring in Accounting or Business Management. I am a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. I am involved in all aspects of my fraternity. We do quite a lot of community service in the Jacksonville area. During the school year, I also work as a life guard at the University.
